Halqa Saharaoui - the herb men
Before there were chemists and hospitals, the Saharawi traveled from Tata to all over the country with their herbs. Until today this knowledge has been preserved. 

Almost all traditional medicine comes from a little village called Tata in the South of Morocco, close to the Algerian border. This small desert oasis has the perfect conditions to grow the medical herbs used by the “Saharaoui“ to produce their medicine. Their medical knowledge has been in their family for generations.
